With over 20 years of experience leading and managing people across various artistic environments, I have worked to foster cultures of teamwork, mutual support, and shared ambition. My collaborations with artists and musicians have always aimed to create platforms for personal and group fulfillment, encouraging growth and development. My experience working with young people has highlighted the often underestimated potential of their leadership abilities, which can be a powerful force for positive change. 

 

Whether working with organisations, individuals, or participants, I offer insights into what true leadership is, how to succeed as a leader, and how to build meaningful collaborations and partnerships. My approach to supporting leadership is integrated into all aspects of my work—whether in organisations, with people, or within the realms of music and education.

Leadership Services and Opportunities

Introducing leadership to young people is one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences I have had the privilege to create. Young people are naturally curious, adaptable, and eager to explore ideas that expand their growing capabilities. 

 

Society often frames young people as needing authority, focusing on managing behavior and shaping them in our own image, which can overlook their incredible potential to build environments and societies far beyond what today’s adults imagine. 

 

Young people are the leaders of tomorrow, and giving them opportunities to discover their unique leadership styles, understand how to use their personality strengths, and influence their peers prepares them for the roles they will soon inherit. When we do this, we are often amazed by how much they can achieve and how quickly they can step into leadership. 

 

I work with young people to unlock their leadership potential within their communities and artistic pursuits.

Working with Managers and  Artists

Working in the arts has given me some of the most fascinating insights into the complex relationship between artists and managers. I have dedicated a lot of time to understanding and exploring this dynamic, as I have often seen misunderstandings, conflicts, and even disregard between these two vital groups. 

 

Yet, the relationship between those who create art and those who provide the platform and process for it is truly essential and mutually dependent - they can’t exist without each other. So, why has this relationship often become fractured, to the point of cliché? 

 

In my view, the answer always points back to leadership. I believe that effective leadership can influence attitudes, inspire new behaviors, and foster a genuinely collaborative spirit. 

 

I work with teams to explore these challenges and support the development of new ways to work together more effectively.
